Why Choose Me?
As an experienced instructor I have taught a wide range of people to drive - my pass statistics prove that my methods are successful for everyone! Three times as many learners pass first time with me than on their second attempt, which saves my learners a lot of money.
Manual Driving Lessons
My manual car is a Peugeot 207 1.4 Hdi fitted with dual controls. This car has the highest 5-Star NCAP safety rating, all-round airbags and ABS braking. Another reason I chose this car is that it has excellent seat and steering wheel adjustment, and can accommodate everyone, tall or small, in comfort.
The advantage of taking manual driving lessons is that after passing, you can drive either a manual or an automatic car.
Automatic Driving Lessons
Automatic driving is becoming more and more popular. During the last 10 years improvements in car design and technology mean that any size car is now available with an economical and reliable automatic transmission. Modern multi-mode transmissions also now allow you to change gear - but without needing a clutch. My automatic car is a Nissan MicraSE 1.4, which is comfortable for people of all heights.
An automatic car is easier to control and you can move more quickly to the more important aspects of driving – observation, planning and anticipation.
If you love driving but struggle with the clutch and gears, why not choose automatic lessons?
Automatic cars have only two pedals, the accelerator and the footbrake. Both pedals are operated by your right foot. The car decides when to change gear. You can concentrate fully on the road without needing to think about controlling a clutch and deciding which gear to use. You cannot stall an automatic car!
It's much easier, and far less stressful than driving a manual car.
Why not book a one hour trial automatic driving lesson and see for yourself how easy it is to learn in an automatic?
You need to remember that a pass in an automatic car means you are entitled to drive only automatics - but with the range now available, this is hardly a problem!
